64th Genoa International Boat Show – What’s New: MV Marine’s Mito 31 R is here

6 August 2024

The Mito 31 R is the new model that will be showcased by MV Marine at 64th Genoa International Boat Show. Built in the new MV Marine production facility, which started out as Motonautica Vesuviana in 1994, the new Mito 31 R is a restyling of one of the most successful models from the Striano shipyard just outside Naples.

The new Mito 31 R is 9.35 metres long, 3.30 metres wide (the internal length is 1.90 metres) and the new features kick off with the hull, which has been tested alongside the University of Naples and made even better performing and efficient through a number of key changes.

The new features continue on deck where the console has been entirely redesigned and is now larger and more modern, and can accommodate two large displays in addition to the manoeuvring joystick. Also on deck, a large U-shaped dinette located aft can accommodate up to 10 people and transform into a sundeck by adding this relaxation area to the bow.

Below deck, the most stand-out new feature of the Mito 31 R is the more spacious and bright open space with a double bed in an environment rendered elegant and modern through a play of mirrors, LED strips and fine materials. The interior is completed by a bathroom with WC and washbasin.

The engine set-up proposed by MV Marine for the Mito 31 R is two BF350 HONDA V8s.
