The R 13.1 Performante, the R 9.9 and the R 8.2. These are the three models that Bayamo, a shipyard born out of the passion of Alex Lessio, who in 2017 decided to continue the family company’s aluminium processing activity at sea, will be presenting at this year’s 64th Genoa International Boat Show.
Bayamo’s Ribs, all made with a monolithic double-step keel and an superstructure in marine aluminium Alloy 5083, combine the robustness and lightness of aluminium (30% lighter than an equivalent fibreglass structure), which ensure lower consumption and higher performance, with the added important possibility of being recycled. To these qualities Bayamo’s Ribs add the defining collaboration with Studio Akesdesign, a pinnacle in the world of design when it comes to aluminium boats and inflatable boats.
With its fleet Bayamo meets every owner’s need. With the R 13.1 Performante model, the only 13-metre aluminium Rib built in Italy, which can carry up to 15 people on board and which, with an installable power of 1350 hp, reaches a top speed of 58 knots. With the added customisation that comes from the dedicated collection of interior and exterior accessories and the infinite combinations of fabrics, colours, materials, and furnishing accessories developed by the Bayamo boutique.
Other models on the catwalk at the 64th Genoa International Boat Show include the Bayamo R 9.9, also available in Performante, Open, and Cabin versions. The model can carry up to 15 people on board, is trailerable, and can mount up to 800 hp reaching speeds of up to 60 knots.
And finally, there will also be the R 8.2 model on display, perfect for sea outings and guaranteed to provide the highest standards of performance and safety. It can take up to 11 people, is trailerable, and with 350 hp it reaches a top speed of 50 knots.
