An innovative deckhouse offering a greater amount of space on board and more protection on deck, along with a longer bench seat than the model from which it takes its name. This all describes the brand new Gozzo 38 Cabin that Apreamare will be unveiling for the first time at this year’s 64th edition of the Genoa International Boat Show. An evolution of the best-selling Gozzo 35, the Gozzo 38 Cabin is distinguished by a 25 cm longer swim platform that brings the overall length to 11.45 metres.
Born from an initial intuition by Cataldo Aprea, the Gozzo 38 Cabin bears the signatures of Marco Casali and Umberto Tagliavini who managed to conceive a version that can be sailed in every season thanks to the new design of the more enveloping deckhouse, while still maintaining the refined style that defines the Open version and features that make the Sorrentine gozzo unique.
The other key stand-out elements that make up the new Gozzo 38 Cabin are the large cockpit with an L-shaped sofa and pull-out table for six people and the large bow sundeck. From the cockpit, which is partly enclosed and characterised by perimeter windows, a four-panel French window opens to create a direct link between the exterior and interior leads to the saloon organised with a bridge, galley and L-shaped dinette equipped with table.
Below deck, the layout includes two double cabins and a bathroom with, thanks to the new hull configuration, the bathroom and shower area being larger than in the Gozzo 35. The guest cabin amidships is also larger. Engine set-up ranges from two Volvo Penta D4-270 DPI or D4-320 DPI stern drives. Also available is a version with a shaft line and Volvo Penta D4-320.
