Maximum protection. This is what the MPX Impact GORE-TEX Pro sailing jacket and trousers that Musto is presenting at the 64th Genoa International Boat Show guarantee. A protection that Musto achieves with the exclusive use of D3O technology, which allows the protections to be “printed” on a mesh that is then welded onto the elbow and hip areas to cushion the blows in these areas.
D3O technology is used in the most demanding situations, from Formula 1 drivers’ helmets to the suits worn by MotoGP champions. Every D3O product and material is created in the D3O Lab in London, a state-of-the-art innovation centre where every element is guaranteed to deliver the best impact protection in the world.
The D30 protectors on Musto’s MPX Impact GORE-TEX Pro jacket and trousers are complemented by 3D knee pads that are welded onto the GORE-TEX Pro fabric with a laser-cut abrasion-resistant film laminated on the outside to provide maximum protection against rough, hard surfaces.
