64th Genoa International Boat Show – Frausher Italia unveils the second generation of the 1017 GT

23 August 2024

It will be a debut edition at the 64th Genoa International Boat Show for the new edition of the Frauscher 1017 GT, a model that is defined as the “Gentlemen’s racer” of the Austrian shipyard. The 1017 GT second generation that Frauscher Italia in collaboration with dealer Nautica Feltrinelli will be presenting at the Genoa Boat Show is the latest edition of the most successful powerboat in its category on which yacht designer Stephan Everwin has succeeded in keeping its distinctive features intact in a successful balancing act between consolidated design elements and new accents. All without giving up on the high standards of quality that have always distinguished Frauscher.

A stylistic intervention that has succeeded in defining the next stage of evolution of an already iconic model by inserting, for example, elements such as the side air intakes on the recognisable hull design, a reference to the shipyard’s most recent models such as the 1212 Ghost and the 1414, emphasising the sporty character of the 1017 GT.

With a length of 10.30 metres and a maximum beam of 2.92 metres, the 1017 GT second generation can carry up to 8 people on board. Other features that make the model stand out include longer stern sun cushions and a wider stern platform that closes the aft profile, adding space to the beach area.

Other innovations include numerous refined details such as the black painted dashboard with modern displays and classic round instruments set in stainless steel, the interiors with more generous and rounded backrests for maximum comfort, an oak kitchen, an elegant bathroom and a bed for two.

The planned engine set-up is 340 hp or 430 hp. The model’s top speed reaches close to 60 knots. Alongside the 1017 GT second generation, Frausher Italia and Nautica Feltrinelli will also be presenting the 11.99 metre Frauscher 1212 Ghost at the 64th Genoa International Boat Show.
