There will be two brand new products from Cantiere Mimì at the 63rd Genoa International Boat Show this year. The shipyard helmed by Domenico Senese has in fact extended its range of planing boats with two new models: the Libeccio 9.5 Classic, equipped with tiller steering, and the Libeccio 11 Cabin New Version 2023.
The Libeccio 9.5 Classic, the result of the shipyard’s collaboration with Valerio Rivellini, stems from a resurgence of interest in models that recall tradition and therefore offers tiller steering, a tribute to classic gozzo boats, to which it adds new solutions that expand the exterior and interior spaces.
Cantiere Mimì’s second new model at the Genoa Boat Show will be the Libeccio 11 Cabin New Version 2023. This is a reinterpretation of the 11 Cabin, a historic model for the shipyard and the first gozzo in the line with a hard top. There are multiple innovations, however: the stern cockpit has been enlarged to offer a large central sundeck, the outdoor kitchen and the relaxation area in the bow, with a sundeck that can be converted into a sofa.
Below deck the new Libeccio 11 Cabin New Version 2023 can be fitted out with a galley or a sofa area and two double cabins: the double with separate bathroom and double entrance, and a twin cabin. Basic engine set-up: two 250 hp Yanmar engines for a top speed of 30 knots.
