Environmental sustainability and cutting-edge engineering are the focus of Punch’s presence at the 63rd Genoa International Boat Show. The Show is an important showcase for Punch’s latest innovative engine solutions, which offer a high-performance sailing experience.
One of Punch’s exhibits is a collaboration with Castagnola Yacht, which will be displaying its Heritage 9.9 US which is powered by two powerful 500hp Bukh engines engineered by Punch from General Motors engines.
Another focus of Punch is the sustainability of the engines, optimised by Punch for the use of HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) fuel with OXE Marine and Punch Torino committed to the further development of outboard diesel engines.
Also presented at the Punch stand is the marine engine concept, derived from the GM 3.0-litre 6-cylinder engine offering over 300 hp, the OXE 200 2.0-litre diesel outboard derived from a General Motors unit, adapted to marine use with a power output of 200 hp.
Punch Hydrocells presents a prototype of a cylinder head with direct hydrogen injection while TO.TEM unveils a new version of LYNX, an electric scooter designed and built in Italy. In addition, the Punch stand will host GM Marine, the division of General Motors.
