Capable of handling 70-tonne boats, the Pelican Lift, a new mobile quay-mounted crane by Boat Lift, will be showcased at this year’s 63rd Genoa International Boat Show.
A stand-out feature of Pelican Lift, which is wheel-mounted so it can operate even where there is no support at sea, is the front cantilever beam that is balanced at the back by counterweights and, thanks to a band system, ensures hauling and launching while moving forward beyond the quay.
The Pelican Lift crane, entirely designed by the Boat Lift team, is equipped with electronically synchronised winches and features dual proportional speed for both empty/load lifting and pulling. All functions are controlled by radio remote control to ensure maximum safety and reliability during movement.
