Bavaria Yachts, the historical German shipyard founded in 1978, enriches its collection with the new Bavaria C46 making its debut at 63rd Genoa International Boat Show.
Designed by the Cossutti Yacht Design studio, the new Bavaria C46 (14.50 metres in length by 4.70 in maximum beam) stands out for the shape of its hull, with a long V that optimises performance and a maximum rear beam that increases interior space for the cabins.
Another stand-out feature of the Bavaria C46 is the possibility of configuring the deck layout with six optional winch positions to allow convenient management, even by a reduced crew, of the sail plan, which has mainsail (also furling) of 66 square metres and a self-tacking jib of 49.5 square metres. The sail plan is completed by a genoa, gennaker and Code Zero.
Below deck, the Bavaria C46 offers numerous layout possibilities with, forward, a large master cabin featuring a separate shower or two cabins with their own bathroom. In the stern, two guest cabins with double or twin beds. In addition, one of the two guest bathrooms can become a fifth double cabin for the crew. 57 or 80 hp auxiliary engines.
