On 8th March, the fourth unit of the Mangusta Oceano 44 series, born from a close collaboration between Overmarine Group, P.L.A.N.A. Design and yacht designer Alberto Mancini, went to sea. The interiors and layout were developed by the yard’s Design Team with Gianluca Sist of Studio H2.
Among the most stand-out features of the Mangusta Oceano 44, built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure are the 104-square-metre sundeck and a beach area that can be extended thanks to the opening transom and side terraces.
The interiors, inspired by contemporary minimalism, are made with a selection of fine materials that include prize woods and marbles and are characterised by an extensive use of glass surfaces that create a harmonious dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The Mangusta Oceano 44 reaches a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots with a range of 4,500 miles.
The sale of the fourth Mangusta Oceano 44 took place in collaboration with Gaston Lees-Buckley representing the brokerage house Camper & Nicholsons, who also supervised the construction phases.
