Sanlorenzo will be joining the Milano Design Week with Wind Labyrinth, an immersive work that translates the essence of sailing into an enveloping sensory experience. The installation, created as part of the INTERNI CRE-ACTION exhibition-event celebrating the pinnacle of yachting, art and sustainable innovation coming together, will come to life from 7th to 17th April in the University of Milan’s Cortile del Settecento.
“This year, Sanlorenzo will once again enrich the world of yachting with elements of creativity and design,” stated Cavalier Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman of Sanlorenzo. “With the Wind Labyrinth installation we wanted to interpret and celebrate the essence of Nautor Swan, the latest star to join our galaxy, confirming once again our commitment to respecting the planet, in which every element, from design to nature, contributes to an ecosystem of excellence and innovation“.
The installation, curated by Piero Lissoni, artistic director of Sanlorenzo since 2018, takes the form of an actual maze of sails, mainsails and jibs, all recovered through a process of upcycling, suspended to create a harmonious dialogue between a delicate lightness and tactile structure, conjuring a sensation akin to the constant motions of the sea.
