21 January 2025

New inflatable models and more are to be presented by Yamaha Motor Europe, with new colours and a new design to be showcased at Boot in Düsseldorf this year, as the company aims to offer an increasingly versatile range, from not just a technical standpoint, but also in terms of aesthetics.

In terms of colours and aesthetics, the 115 HP, 100 HP, 70 HP and 50 HP models are now available in white, while a new, elegant 3D chrome logo is featured on the 150 HP and the 200 HP models in the electronic digital control version and the mechanical version, a detail shared with the DES models.

“For our teams, an outboard is much more than just an engine. It is an integral part of the aesthetics of a boat,” explained Fabrice Lacoume, Marine Director of Yamaha Motor Europe.

As for inflatable units, the new models presented by Yamaha at Boot are the YAM 350Air-V model, 3.56 metres long and weighing just 43 kg that can comfortably accommodate up to five passengers, and, for more sporty outings, the YAM 420S model, 4.18 metres long and weighing 91 kg, designed to can accommodate up to seven passengers.
