Invictus joins Boot with the GT280 Carbon Look

20 January 2025

Celebrating the 300th example of its first model unveiled back in 2015, Invictus Yacht will be kicking off the new year by presenting the Invictus GT280 Carbon Look at this year’s edition of the Boot show in Düsseldorf. Very much a special edition, this model also represents a significant step forward in terms of technology and the yard’s own production process.

“The application of carbon fibre technology was by no means some random aesthetic decision to give the model a more attractive tone,” explained Rosario Alcaro, General Manager of Invictus Yacht, a brand belonging to the Cantieri Aschenez group, “but rather the outcome following a targeted focus on research dedicated to defining a better construction process that, thanks to the use of carbon fibre, has been able to enhance the technical, structural and visual properties of this material, which are also reflected in a better aesthetic quality of the product but also in its improved performance.”

The Invictus GT 280 Carbon Look, on show in Düsseldorf features a hull that enhances the texture and colours of the carbon thanks to the transparent paintwork, while the deck is painted clear, like the furnishing, a combination chosen in order to best emphasise the black tone of the hull.

The stand-out features that have made the 8.9-metre GT 280 a success remain unchanged, from the attention to detail to the refined choice of materials, from the model’s elegance to its unmistakable style. The GT280 Carbon Look presented at Boot is powered by a 300 hp Volvo Penta V8 petrol engine.
