A successful 2024 for Marina di Loano

9 January 2025

Our constant commitment through innovative concepts, planning and tangible initiatives ensure yachting enthusiasts and all our guests are able to enjoy the highest standards of services within a structure that is at the cutting edge of innovation in every possible way“. This is how Gianluca Mazza, CEO of Marina di Loano, summed up the progress made throughout 2024 by the marina, which Yachting Pages magazine defines as “One of the 10 most beautiful marinas in the world“.

A great deal of new facilities were completed in 2024: from the new swimming pool to the new cabins, from the new Marina Beach lounge area to the new Marina Fitness facilities, to the renovated steps connecting to the Francheville Pier and improving access to the commercial area, which saw the opening of new shops and activities further enriching what Marina di Loano already had to offer as of 2023. The marina is also equipped with a photovoltaic plant capable of producing 334,000 kW per year of green energy.

The year 2024 also witnessed the enhancement of the location’s high-end hospitality services with the opening in the winter of the Marina di Loano Yacht Club hotel, a brand new electric car park and the inauguration of an area for boat rental services.

Marina di Loano’s positive balance sheet includes exceptional figures for the same year, including an impressive occupancy rate of berths from 30 to 85 metres that will soon exceed 95% in the 2024-2025 winter season, and the two 52-metre and 62-metre superyachts that have chosen Marina di Loano as their home port. In terms of sporting events, the year saw more stand-out figures with the 43 boats that are taking part in the Winter Championship organised by the local sailing club, Circolo Nautico Loano, in partnership with Marina di Loano, who is taking part as the event’s Main Partner.

Marina di Loano confirms once again a positive trend that has defined the last two years, increasing core revenues, with full occupancy, and consolidating both real estate and tourism activities.” This was the closing comment by Gianluca Mazza, who also took the opportunity to anticipate a further series of initiatives dedicated to 2025 that will be presented front and centre during Marina di Loano’s participation at the major international trade fairs of the industry, in particular at the 65th Genoa International Boat Show, scheduled to take place from 18th to 23rd September this year.
