It was a true “debut” for HP Watermakers’ compact HP SCA DOUBLE desalinator series at the METSTRADE show taking place in Amsterdam.
“An exceptional technical innovation, the new HP SCA DOUBLE series is essential for reducing the size of desalinators in the machine room,” stated Gianni Zucco, co-founder of HP Watermakers.
The HP SCA DOUBLE series is made up of two independent desalinators set up in the same box and is designed to optimise on-board energy consumption and, at the same time, respond to peaks in drinking water consumption.
The series itself consists of five models with a fresh water production from 240 l/h to 1,200 l/h. On show at METSTRADE was the HP SCA DOUBLE 440 (the others are the 320, 540, 660 and 880), the only one in the range to mount membranes inside the box, while all the others have them separate and sites can install them where they see fit.
HP Watermakers also presented the WATER PACKAGE comprising the HP KILO desalinator connected to the navigation plotters via the Part-NET interface system, capable of producing 100 l/h with a consumption of just 1kW, and the HP Genius system, the complete solution for supplying fresh water onboard but also at home: the water dispenser is connected directly to the drinking water network and produces fresh and/or sparkling water.
