Italian high-end lighting company B Light is in the running to claim its place among the winners of the DAME Design Awards. The inclusion of the Friuli-based company’s Nicole WW system brings the total number of Italian companies nominated to 10 as we are only days away from the most important award ceremony at Amsterdam’s world-leading marine equipment show, METS.
The Nicole WW is a discreet wall-mounted downlight with symmetrical or asymmetrical light distribution designed specifically for the yachting sector and the typical narrow corridors aboard yachts, which require both walls to be perfectly lit in order to give depth to the corridor and improve space perception.
In addition to illuminating the walls with full-height lighting, the Nicole WW can mount different static white or red navigation bulbs and can also be used both indoors and outdoors in homes as it can be mounted on plasterboard, wood or stone as well as on boat composite materials.
