Aluminium construction and offshore performance. This describes the Vanquish 45 by Vanquish Yachts, the Dutch yard that stands out for building its aluminium boats (but also has a composite line) ranging from the 35-metre VQ 115 to the “small” VQ45, anche which will be making its debut at 64th Genoa International Boat Show.
Measuring 13.60 metres long and offered in inboard (two Volvo Penta IPS 650s) and outboard (four Mercury Verado 600 hp) versions, the VQ45 is available in H-Top, T-Top, and Open layouts, all three capable of accommodating 16 people and, in the VQ 45 Veloce with outboard motorisation, of reaching a top speed of 62 knots.
From the cockpit, which includes an aft-facing sofa and a C-shaped dinette, walkways lead to the bow sundeck while the helm station is flanked by a second armchair for the navigator.
The interior is organised with the bathroom to the left of the descent from the cockpit with the galley to starboard and, forward, a large convertible V-shaped sofa.
The new Vanquish 45, which reaches 42 knots in the inboard version, in the outboard version is equipped with the Mercury Skyhook system that holds the boat in place at the push of a button.
