At OTAM, with the launch scheduled for May, construction charges ahead on the first example in the GTS version of the new OTAM 9 model. This event will be celebrated in addition to the 70th anniversary since the Genoese shipyard’s founding.
The outcome of the close collaboration between the Shipyard and Giuseppe Bagnardi of the BG Design Firm, the new OTAM 9GTS combines custom design details such as the console equipped with a cooling system to keep the electronics at a constant temperature.
Also of particular note is the hull colouring obtained with a metallic silver paint and bronze accents, specially developed for the OTAM 9GTS by Awlgrip.
For the interiors, the custom solution features a full-beam master cabin, a VIP cabin and a third guest cabin as well as a lounge. On deck, the cockpit is sheltered by the opening hard top and has dedicated access to the galley.
There are ample open-air spaces with an aft sundeck, bathing platform, and forward, a large dinette with a relaxation and dining area. Two 2600 hp MTUs combined with Arneson transmissions will take the new OTAM 9GTS to over 40 knots.
