Scheduled to take place in Porto Cervo, the 22nd Grand Soleil Cup is a landmark and reference point for owners and fans of Cantiere del Pardo, which in 2023 celebrated its first 50 years since its foundation.
The Grand Soleil Cup 2024 will be held from 21st to 23rd June at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and the notice of race together with the registration procedures will be announced shortly. However, Cantiere del Pardo has revealed that the first 40 boats to register will have free mooring and overnight accommodation in the Porto Cervo Marina from Thursday 20th to Monday 24th June.
Last year, the 21st Grand Soleil Cup was contested at Portopiccolo, the Sistiana marina a stone’s throw from Trieste, and the overall winner in the All Sails classification was Athyris, the GS 48 RACE, a design by Marco Lostuzzi and Sergio Taccheo, while the winner in the White Sails classification was Luiba, the GS 52 LC, another design by Lostuzzi and Fabio Montanari.
