For the first time, Mylius, the shipyard based in Podenzano (Piacenza) and helmed by Valentina Gandini, is taking part in the Dubai International Boat Show, which kicks off on Wednesday 28th February. And for its debut on the Middle Eastern market, Mylius will be putting its best foot forward with the company’s range of motorboats, a range that since 2022 has joined the yard’s world-renowned sailing boat lines.
In particular, Mylius will be showcasing its M47P MOTOSCAFO (15.40 metres long), a design by Alberto Simeone conceived as a tender for large yachts but also as a cruiser thanks to its four berths in the cabin. Powered by four Mercury Racing 500Rs it can reach a top speed of 55 knots. Two examples will be on display.
Another Mylius motor option is the MY62 (19.50 metres long) designed and engineered by Ceccarelli Yacht Design in partnership with the Parisotto + Formenton studio. A true loft at sea, as defined by the shipyard. Powered by two 725 hp Volvo IPS 950s, the model reaches a top speed of 28 knots.
The Mylius MY62 will be followed by a number of larger models, which will be announced during the 2024 season, along with new concepts for the sailing segment that has as its flagships the Mylius 80 and in the Mylius 66 RS, a 20.40 metre Blue Water Cruiser designed to offer the highest levels of liveability, comfort and safety throughout those long voyages.
