Where tailored Engineering meets a beating passion for the Sea: this is what has defined 45 years of IngeMar. This is also how the name was first coined in 1979: “Ingegneria” meaning Engineering and “Mare” meaning the Sea, the combination of which gave birth to the name IngeMar. With its logo designed by Bob Noorda, IngeMar is now a leading company in the optimisation of port spaces and in the design and supply of floating structures for ports and marinas, having also been the technical sponsor of the Genoa International Boat Show for many years.
These 45 years of activity have seen the development of increasingly complex projects and installations, including their recent concept ‘comfort for all’ and partnerships with the companies Madeit4All and T1 Solutions for the design and production of a series of Marina for All (M4A) products.
After a 2023 that consolidated the positive trend of the last few years, 2024 sees IngeMar engaged on many new fronts in Italy and abroad. Among others, projects include using pontoons with concrete floats and steel or aluminium structures, in the marinas of Albarella, Tivat in Montenegro and Manoel Island in Malta.
Further ideas have seen their innovative technology applied using floating concrete breakwaters to safeguard the coasts of Croatia and Slovenia and, with the use of fixed structures, at the Villaggio del Pescatore (Fisherman’s Village) in Duino Aurisina, at the Marina of Monfalcone, at Portovecchio in Corsica, and with floating pontoons featuring light floats in Corfu in Greece.
Finally, collaborations with licensees in the Gulf countries have led IngeMar to the realisation of a number of projects in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman and Kuwait.
