Bearing the signature of Javier Soto Acebal, the new Solaris 55 is being launched in Aquileia by Solaris Yachts where the 40ST is also under construction. Two brand-new designs that join another new entry for the 2024 season: the Solaris 74RS, the launch of which launch is scheduled for May.
In addition to Soto Acebal’s design, the new Solaris 55 also features the signature of Adi Design for the interiors, while the Solaris team is responsible for having built and overseen the structures, systems and internal technical design.
At 16.90 metres long with a maximum beam of 5.00 metres and with a sail area of 182 square metres, the Solaris 55 is a true cross-over with the hull marked by the edge that disappears from the bow to the stern and that now distinguishes all Solaris yachts. As is the choice of ensuring maximum comfort with, for example, the cockpit with two side tables and comfortable central passageway.
The interior layout is classic. The owner’s cabin located forward is offered in two options: with a central bed or at side. There are two guest cabins aft. The central living area with dinette has an L-shaped galley to the left. The sail locker can be converted into a sailor cabin with its own bathroom.
