Baglietto, which is celebrating its 170th anniversary this year, has announced their recent sale to an Australian owner of the tenth DOM133.
“This is an important sale for Baglietto” commented Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto “not just because this sale paves the way for our entry into an entirely new market. This new DOM was created with the precise intention of its owner to sail the seas across the globe and has been significantly customised for the target market, without losing any of the all-Italian style that has always been at the heart our brand“.
The new Baglietto DOM133 has been designed for long voyages, and for this reason there is no swimming pool aft of the main deck, replaced by more storage space. The galley area has also undergone a few changes, having been enlarged and now accommodating a small table. The top speed envisaged with two Caterpillar C32s is 17 knots.
The DOM series is designed by Stefano Vafiadis and the sale is due to the efforts of Perry James, Baglietto Australia’srepresentative. The unit is scheduled for delivery in 2026.
