Delivery has been scheduled for 2025 for the latest order from Columbus Yachts. The Palumbo Superyachts shipyard has announced the sale of a Crossover 42 to an American client introduced by Xarpo Yachts.
The new Crossover 42 is bears the signatures of Hydro Tec for the exterior design, which presents the classic volumes of the Explorer bow area, and of Hot Lab for the interiors.
The new Crossover 42 is under construction at the Palumbo Superyachts Savona shipyard. As Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts, emphasised: “Major investments are being made in what we consider to be a strategic facility both in terms of geographical location and in terms of the infrastructure and services that are made available to Owners and their crews. In Savona, our goal is to continue building new yachts, guarantee a strategic berth for our fleet and offer our expertise for maintenance and refits of yachts up to 60 metres in length“.
The new Crossover 42 has ample outdoor spaces and the interiors include a full-beam master cabin with office desk on the main deck; on the lower deck three VIP cabins and one double. Powered by two 970 kW Cats, this model will be able to reach a top speed of 14 knots, 12 knots cruising and a range of over 5,500 miles.
