Three days to get to know the industry and products of Gianneschi Pumps & Blowers, the company founded in 1969 by Luigi Gianneschi and today led by his sons Alessandro, Vice President of the Italian Marine Industry Association Confindustria Nautica, and Cristiano. The Gianneschi Academy, at its headquarters in Capezzano Pianore (Lucca), brought together fifty industry professionals from all over the world, including sales managers, dealers, and shipyard representatives.
The idea of a three-day Gianneschi Academy was conceived, as Alessandro Gianneschi explained, “as a response to a clear demand on behalf of dealers and service providers, which stimulated us to organise training courses dedicated to several levels: a commercial level, i.e. how to respond to customers, how to read catalogues and interpret the technical specifications of products, but also a technical level for those who go on board and install products; and a level devoted to those who communicate with design offices, yards and other operators“.
The intense Gianneschi Academy programme allowed participants to learn about the design and production processes of pumps and blowers that make Gianneschi Pumps & Blowers the international benchmark in the sector, as well as the company’s processes for processing orders, while the shipyard representatives were able to share with Gianneschi Pumps & Blowers technicians the needs and potential solutions for the strategic sector in which the Tuscan company operates.
The Gianneschi Academy was more than a business event, however. The event was also attended by the Ducati Desmosedici GP22 Team Gresini, Alex Marquex’s team that for years has been flying the Gianneschi Pumps & Blowers banner on their GP bikes on circuits all over the world. Specifically, the Gigetta, a series of two-stage electric pumps, one of the flagship products of Gianneschi Pumps & Blowers.
