A new acknowledgement for CRN: RINA Services Spa has confirmed that the Ferretti Group’s SuP-Y: Sustainable Powered Yacht system is suitable for proper operation and easy management, as well as complying with regulatory requirements for safe implementation.
The SuP-Y: Sustainable Powered Yacht project, born from a key partnership between the Ferretti Group Super Yacht Division, Weichai Power Science & Technology Division and Rina Services Spa, is aimed at identifying a sustainable technical architecture with the most efficient implementation possible of a Fuel Cell system on board a Ferretti Group superyacht.
The project, developed by CRN, led to the realization of two naval platforms: a platform with hybrid propulsion for yachts from 60 to 70 metres and a platform with Diesel/Electric propulsion for yachts from 75 to 90 metres.
