After the first course was held in Forlì, the Ferretti Group’s School of Trades arrives in Sarnico and Mondolfo. This is the continuation of the Ferretti Group’s project dedicated to the next generation aged between 18 and 29 who want to take their first steps into the world of excellence that is the Italian yachting industry.
Born out of the Ferretti Group’s need for specialised manpower to be employed in the production of luxury yachts, the School of Trades combines theory and practice in the shipyard and goes from classrooms to workshops to the production departments, with the aim of building concrete career and growth prospects.
The School of Trades in Sarnico, in collaboration with the Salesiani Don Bosco training organisations and the CFP Zanardelli institute, focuses on mechanics and plant engineering, outfitting and carpentry, painting and fibreglass.
In Mondolfo, with the support of the w.academy – Business School, the trainees will specialise in mechanics and nautical/plumbing engineering.
In total, including the next edition of the School of Trades, which will be based in Forlì, there will be over 50 trainees who will have the opportunity to be employed in the Ferretti Group’s shipyards.
