Furuno, as it works its way towards creating the first fully autonomous boat, presents the Risk Visualizer function, which shows potential collision areas according to the current position of its boat and the movement of all surrounding vessels.
The information collected by the Risk Visualizer provides a quick and intuitive overview of what the situation is near and around the boat. In addition, warnings are colour-coded according to the threat of collision, from green (normal) to red (dangerous).
The Risk Visualizer function is also featured in the new 10.4″ and 12.1″ LCD radar displays FR-10 and FR-12, which boast enhanced screen resolution compared to previous models.
