A steel hull and an aluminium superstructure define the new Codecasa 58, the latest sale from the Viareggio shipyard. The new superyacht will be developed based on the naval blueprint of the 58-metre Kathryn, which went to sea last July, built by the Plana Studio under Pierluigi Ausonio in cooperation with the Codecasa Shipyards’ technical department.
The new sale was concluded thanks to the collaboration with the Ocean Independence brokerage agency. The new Codecasa 58, which has four decks connected by a lift, will be characterised by particularly large spaces.
The planned engine set-up consists of two 3386 hp Caterpillars and the top speed at light displacement will be 20 knots. Delivery of the new Codecasa 58 is scheduled for 2026.
