A special anchor winch for the Sanlorenzo SP 110. This is the latest creation by Opac, the Turin-based company famous for the design and production of sunroofs and custom solutions for yachts of all sizes, expanding its offer even further.
The new anchor windlass, made entirely of mirror-polished 316 stainless steel, allows the anchor to be concealed inside the hull, thus ensuring the yacht’s clean line.
Opac, who developed the anchor winch in partnership with the yacht designer who designed the Sanlorenzo SP 110, devised the hydraulic boom rotation mechanism: a movable element approximately 1.5 metres long that holds the anchor weighing 140 kilograms. The entire system weighs 450 kg.
In addition to the new anchor windlass Opac has also developed an innovative system that allows the secondary dashboard on the flybridge to rotate, a turntable that, when closed, keeps the dashboard protected from the weather.
