Tomorrow at 11.00 am in Genoa, at the Ocean Live Park, the world is invited to experience the launch of the new Ecoracer One Design 30, the world’s first recyclable one-design built by Northern Light Composites.
The Ecoracer One Design 30 is the next evolutionary step of the Ecoracer racing dinghy also built in natural fibres first presented at the 61st Genoa International Boat Show and winner of the Design Innovation Award during that same edition of the Boat Show.
The Ecoracer 30 One Design, one of the winning projects of the Genoa Blue District’s Call For Innovation, is based on the design by Matteo Polli and had its hull and deck built and assembled in Fano at Magnani Yachts, while bulkheads and fins were made at Sangiorgio Marine in Genoa.
“It is immensely rewarding,” commented Fabio Bignolini, CEO of Northern Light Composites, “to send out to sea the world’s first recyclable hull designed for mass production, with the second boat’s construction currently in the initial stages and our goal to build the first four models within 2023”.
