Ferretti Yachts presents what it is calling its new star: the Ferretti Yachts 580, the outcome of the key partnership between the Strategic Product Committee, chaired by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
With an overall length of 18.24 metres and a maximum beam of 5 metres, the new Ferretti Yachts 580 bears the signature of architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior design, while the interiors were taken care of by Ideaeitalia.
With a layout that makes the most of all the areas on board, the Ferretti Yachts 580 offers, among other special features, a flybridge with a surface area of around 18 square metres, a large living area in the bow and a dining area in the cockpit with a sofa that can be converted into a sunpad.
The interiors, available in two décor versions, Classic and Contemporary, with, on the main deck, a living area featuring a bar facing the cockpit and the bridge and, on the lower deck, two layout versions, both with capable of sleeping six in three cabins with the owner’s cabin arranged on two levels.
Running on two 900 hp Volvo Penta D13s the Ferretti Yachts 580 reaches a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots. On two 1000 hp Volvo Penta D13s the model reaches 32 and 26 knots respectively.
