The partnership between Cantiere del Pardo and Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team continues. After teaming up for the 36th edition of the America’s Cup, Cantiere del Pardo, which in 2023 is celebrating 50 years since its founding, will be alongside the AC75 Luna Rossa for the next edition of the Cup scheduled to take place in 2024 in Barcelona.
Cantiere del Pardo’s collaboration provides the Italian team with a VanDutch 48 and a Pardo Endurance 72, two models that meet very precise criteria in terms of performance, reliability, comfort and design.
“This year,” explained Gigi Servidati, President of Cantiere del Pardo, “our partnership sees Cantiere del Pardo directly involved with both of its motorboat brands VanDutch Yachts and Pardo Yachts to affirm once again in an even more decisive way the core values that Cantiere del Pardo and Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli share: first and foremost the excellence that is the Made in Italy brand along with its technological innovation and performance”.
The VanDutch 48, 14.60 metres long, has sporty lines designed by Mulder Design and will be running on two Volvo Penta -D11- 725 HP-Shaft Drives allowing the model to reach 35 knots. Already at the team’s disposal at the Cagliari headquarters, the 48 will be used for speeding guests between the docks and the course.
The 22-metre-long flagship, the Pardo Endurance 72, with naval architecture by Davide Leone Yacht Design and interior design by Burdisso&Capponi Yachts&Design will be launched in Spring 2024 and delivered to the team in August. She will be destined for VIP hospitality perfectly meeting the team’s requirements in terms of habitability, comfort, sustainability and exclusivity.
