It will last three years, up to and including Boot 2026, the partnership agreement signed between B&G, the world’s largest manufacturer of sailing electronics, and Solaris Yachts, the Aquileia-based shipyard founded in 1974.
“Being alongside Solaris Yachts has always been a source of pride for B&G,” said Roberto Sesenna, Sales OEM Director at the Navico Group. “Attention to detail and innovation, solidity and reliability, but above all the constant search for excellence are characteristics we share.”
The partnership agreement stipulates that B&G electronics, already the first choice for Solaris Yachts, will be present on board all boats on display during major European boat shows, such as Cannes, Genoa and Düsseldorf, and kicks off with Solaris Days, which from 25th to 28th May will be the setting for the Solaris Cup 2023 that will bring together over 60 Solaris owners in the waters of Porto Rotondo on the splendid Costa Smeralda.
“We are honoured by this partnership, which has now reached its culmination after so many years of collaborating with B&G,” commented Vincenzo De Maria, Commercial Director of Solaris Yachts, on the beginning of the partnership. “Our event has grown a lot over the years thanks in part to the possibility for our owners to meet with partners and use the Solaris Cup as a kick-off for the season.”
B&G at the Solaris Cup 2023, via the team Elmec Nautica, B&G’s specialised and certified technical dealer, will provide its Regatta Support service, which will ensure that crews can count on the essential assistance of on-board equipment.
