The Ferretti Group has announced the acquisition of a production site measuring over 70,000 square metres, including dry dock, in San Vitale, located within the province of Ravenna.
“This acquisition represents the fulfilment of a promise,” commented Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “We already have big plans for the new expansion, envisaging a production site that will be at the forefront in all of its aspects: the wellbeing of workers, a positive social impact, environmental protection, including through a careful choice of materials, and increased production. The new production complex in the province of Ravenna will benefit from a strategic location, close to the headquarters in Forlì and the shipyard in Cattolica. The acquisition envisaged an initial investment of approximately €40 million, which will be followed by a further 40 million over the next three years, dedicated to the construction of new production spaces and a research and development centre.
