The Aquila 42 Yacht, a 12-metre motor catamaran with a wide range of outfitting possibilities, is a new model from FC-Yacht, a company belonging to the Free Charter group in Cagliari, which markets and services the US brand Aquila Power Catamarans in Italy.
Designed by the French studio of Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prévost, the new Aquila 42 Yacht is one of the many models that make up the Aquila Power Catamarans’ range of 28- to 70-foot motor catamarans, a key partnership between Sino Eagle Group and MarineMax.
“What truly makes the Aquila 42 Yacht stand out from other competitors,” points out Carlo Orione, CEO of FC-Yacht, “is its design and the quality of its equipment and materials, which bring it closer to the world of high-end motoryachts. The 6.40 metre width is only one metre less than that of the Aquila 54, which is 12 feet longer“.
The Aquila 42 Yacht, powered by two 230 hp Volvos, combines large exteriors and saloon spaces with three layout solutions. On the lower deck there are two large suites with a study and large bathroom plus a utility cabin in the bow, or three or four cabins.
The Aquila 42 Yacht also benefits from the Rent-to-Buy formula developed by Free Charter, which, through the payment of a deposit and then a monthly fee allows the yacht to be used for 12 weeks a year and, after seven years, to allow users to become a full owner.
