Under the title Build Your Ideal Yacht, the 23rd Benetti Yachtmaster event took place in Abu Dhabi and was a perfect occasion to celebrate the Shipyard’s 150th anniversary.
The event was attended by Giovanna Vitelli, President of the Azimut Benetti Group, and over 200 captains, owner representatives, surveyors, stewardesses and professionals who enlivened the two-day event with discussions focused on the future of international yachting.
A future in which Benetti will play a leading role, as it can count on many excellent innovations: from Ambrosia, the first yacht with diesel-electric propulsion launched in 2005, to B.Yond, the 37-metre yacht launched last year and equipped with the Full-Hybrid E-MODE system developed in partnership with Siemens Energy.
During the 23rd Benetti Yachtmaster, Sebastiano Fanizza, Benetti’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasised the commercial importance of the Arabian Peninsula and illustrated the Shipyard’s initiatives in terms of sustainability, underlining how the IMO directives to reduce carbon intensity by 40% by 2030 are a strategic objective for Benetti.
