Setting sail for the 55th edition of the Genoa Boat Show

18 September 2015

Thanks to the extraordinary support of the Italian Ministry for Economic Development and the ICE Agency, the exhibition looks set to hit the water at full throttle with more than 70 journalists and 70 operators and foreign buyers from 29 different countries already confirmed to attend this, one of the world’s benchmark boating events.

The Ministry of Economic Development, ICE – the agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian businesses, and the Regione Liguria City of Genoa – have come together to drive this year’s event, recognising its importance  as the country’s only show dedicated to pleasure boating. Testimony to the traction the show is gaining is the fact that Pavilion B exhibition space sold out weeks ago.

IBI has become a media partner of for the show, with editor Ed Slack announced as one of the judges for the ADI (Industrial Design Association) Design and Innovation Award to be held the day of Sunday, October 4 in space Bonaldo. IBI will also be reporting and filming from the show.
